Christian Marriage Ministries is the operating name for Mission to Marriage, a registered charity founded in the early 1970s.

Thousands of couples and hundreds of churches have benefited from our ministry.

The charity is explicitly Christian and seeks to empower couples in their own marriages, and to serve churches in marriage and relationship issues.

All the Trustees, staff and volunteers are evangelical Christians, from a variety of denominations. We try to avoid the all-too-common emphasis on 'popular personalities', preferring to highlight the message rather than the messenger. We work cross denominationally but always aim to be sensitive to particular church cultures.

    Selfishness is the primary cause of marriage breakdown.

    4. Our ministry focuses on Christian character development, while recognising that relationship skills play a very important part in effective relationships.

    5. We help people discover how to develop, not just teach theory.
