Weddings, marriage - and divorce?

Increasingly couples are spending thousands of pounds on getting married. But how many invest any time in preparing for the marriage itself? No couple getting married ever expects to get divorced, but the reality is that divorce is steadily on the increase, even among committed Christians. Good marriage preparation is proven spectacularly to reduce the divorce rate. Our national bestseller Looking Up the Aisle? has been written especially for engaged couples. It's a user-friendly workbook that has helped thousands of couples prepare for their whole lives together - not just the actual wedding day.

Getting married?

Many engaged couples attend selected marriage weekends, because we encourage churches to run effective marriage preparation courses we don't offer specific residential events for marriage preparation, but engaged couples are welcome to attend most of our Residential Marriage Events. You'll get similar teaching to married couples but will have opportunities to work through some material targeted at your specific needs.

In most cases we'll have some younger team members present who'll be happy to spend some time with you.
